Rawalpindi: Pakistan’s military circles have issued a strong response to the recent provocative and irresponsible statement by Indian Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi. Security observers say the remarks reflect how India’s military messaging is increasingly being used as a media tool to divert attention from ground realities and appease political leadership.
Experts on security and strategic affairs note that while the Indian Army Chief relies on dramatic, scripted narratives aimed at media attention, Pakistan’s professional armed forces respond through operational readiness and concrete actions rather than rhetoric. Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, Chief of Defence Forces, delivered a firm message to New Delhi, stating that those unable to manage their own internal security situation should think carefully before issuing threats to Pakistan.
The military leadership warned that any Indian misadventure would be met with a swift, strong, and decisive response that would be beyond the capacity of India’s command structure to handle. It added that such hollow claims are an attempt to cover up strategic miscalculations and operational failures. According to the spokesperson, the Pakistan Army remains at the highest level of operational readiness and is fully prepared to respond to any challenge with a highly trained and combat-tested force capable of countering any threat.
