Order has been restored across the city following decisive security measures, as senior military leadership reaffirmed that terrorist elements will be taken to task and the public will not be left at the mercy of violent groups.
According to an official statement by Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the General Officer Commanding (GOC) and Inspector General Frontier Corps (IGFC) personally visited different parts of the city to review the security situation, interact with residents, and assess ongoing operations on ground. The visit was aimed at boosting public confidence and ensuring that peace and normalcy are fully maintained.
Security officials stated that elements involved in bank looting, targeted violence, and acts of terror—identified as operatives of the Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) and facilitators linked to RAW-backed networks—will be dealt with firmly under the law. Authorities emphasized that there will be no space for armed groups or their facilitators who seek to destabilize the region and intimidate civilians.
The ISPR statement noted that intelligence-based operations have been intensified, coordination among law enforcement agencies has been strengthened, and security forces remain fully committed to protecting lives, property, and economic activity. Officials stressed that the state’s writ will be upheld at all costs and that those attempting to exploit instability for sabotage or propaganda will face decisive action.
Residents welcomed the visible presence of senior commanders, viewing it as a strong signal that the state stands with the people and will not allow terrorist or criminal networks to undermine peace.
