LIVERPOOL — Egyptian football superstar Mohamed Salah is set to leave Liverpool FC at the conclusion of the 2025–2026 season, bringing to an end a remarkable nine-year spell at the Premier League club.
Liverpool announced on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, that Salah had requested the club to make his departure public as soon as possible. Since joining from AS Roma in 2017, the forward has made over 435 appearances for Liverpool, establishing himself as one of the club’s greatest-ever players.
During his time at Anfield, Salah played a pivotal role in helping Liverpool secure two Premier League titles, the UEFA Champions League, FIFA Club World Cup, UEFA Super Cup, FA Cup, two League Cups, and an FA Community Shield.
