Federal Minister for Information Attaullah Tarar has said that Pakistan’s clear position on the Pahalgam incident has strengthened its diplomatic standing and exposed what he called a weak narrative from India. Speaking to the media, he said Pakistan responded firmly in what he described as Maarka e Haq and showed its defensive strength on the global stage.

He added that the address delivered by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif at Kakul last year was a key turning point. According to him, the Prime Minister called for calm, rejected blame games, and offered transparent and independent investigations. As a result, he claimed that several countries took note of Pakistan’s stance, while India failed to gain broad international support for its allegations.

Meanwhile, Tarar said Pakistan’s position helped present what he called the “truth” of the situation more clearly to the world. He stressed that Pakistan has consistently supported peace and dialogue instead of confrontation. He also said the diplomatic outcome reflected growing confidence in Pakistan’s foreign policy approach.

Allegations and Security Claims Highlight Regional Tensions

In addition, the minister made strong remarks about regional security concerns. He alleged that groups such as BLA and TTP are linked to what he described as external support networks. However, these claims have not been independently verified by international observers.

Transitioning to Pakistan’s security stance, Tarar said the country remains firmly committed to fighting terrorism. He described the armed forces as a strong line of defence and said they are fully prepared to respond to any threat or aggression. He also praised the role of military leadership in maintaining national security.

Furthermore, he said the response during Maarka e Haq demonstrated Pakistan’s defence capability and unity between the state and its institutions. He added that the public and overseas Pakistanis have shown strong support for the country’s position.

In conclusion, the minister said the developments around the Pahalgam incident have increased Pakistan’s confidence on the diplomatic front. He also said the episode would be remembered as an important moment in recent political and security history, shaping how Pakistan’s narrative is viewed internationally.
