Pakistan launched Operation Ghazab-Lil-Haq in response to escalating attacks by Afghan Taliban forces along the Afghan border. The operation comes after Afghan militants opened fire at multiple locations, attempting to breach Pakistani positions and undermine border security.

According to security sources, 22 Taliban fighters were killed during the clashes. Taliban attempts to attack Pakistani check posts using quadcopters failed, with all drones shot down by Pakistani forces. Heavy shelling using both small and large weapons continued, and aerial drones targeted Taliban posts with precision, ensuring that no Pakistani positions were overrun. Authorities stressed that Taliban claims of capturing posts are false and part of a disinformation campaign, with fake videos circulating on social media.

The Pakistan Army’s swift and coordinated response forced militants to abandon their positions and retreat, demonstrating the military’s readiness to defend the country’s borders. Analysts say the operation highlights Pakistan’s ability to maintain territorial integrity and stability despite provocations.

Officials reiterated that Pakistan remains fully vigilant and capable of responding decisively to any aggression. The military continues to monitor both the Pak-Afghan border and internal security threats to ensure safety for civilians and border communities.
