Unprovoked aggression from Afghan forces along the Pakistan-Afghanistan border was met with a strong response by Pakistani troops today. In response to Afghan forces opening fire at multiple border locations, Pakistani troops launched a strong retaliatory strike.

Major clashes were reported in Bajaur-Nawagai, Khyber-Tirah, Mohmand district, and Chitral Arundu sectors. In Bajaur, Pakistani forces destroyed two Afghan posts, while in Khyber, five Afghan militants were neutralized.

Meanwhile, in Kunar and Nangarhar, Pakistani helicopters joined the fight, with heavy weapons deployed to target hostile positions. Security officials said all actions were coordinated to respond effectively and restore control over border areas.

Local sources confirmed that Pakistani infantry and border forces acted swiftly to counter the aggression, preventing further incursions.
