The decision was made after a meeting between Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi. After the meeting, Mohsin Naqvi shared the update on social media and confirmed that permission has been granted for public attendance at every playoff match.

Government Urges Fans to Use Public Transport
However, the approval comes with one clear request. Keeping the country’s national austerity drive in mind, the Prime Minister has urged fans to limit fuel use. He has asked people to use public transport when traveling to stadiums whenever possible.
According to officials, this step is meant to reduce pressure on national resources while still allowing people to enjoy the game. At the same time, the Prime Minister extended his best wishes to all four teams that have qualified for the playoff stage.
