KUNER, Afghanistan — A senior commander of the Pakistani Taliban (TTP), Syed Jalil, also known as Ghazwan, has been killed in the Pech Dara area of Kuner province, local sources report.
According to eyewitnesses, Ghazwan was returning home after attending his father’s funeral when unidentified gunmen opened fire, leaving him critically wounded. He later died from his injuries.
The attack has caused concern and fear among local residents, though the identity of the assailants remains unknown and investigations are ongoing.
