Sources claim that the presence of these wanted individuals in areas such as Wazir Akbar Khan and other parts of the Green Zone—where several foreign diplomatic residences are located—has raised serious security concerns. According to these sources, the presence of internationally wanted militants near diplomatic missions could have serious consequences.
As a result, several diplomats are reportedly considering leaving Kabul and may depart in the near future due to security fears.
Staff members of the United Nations and some international non-governmental organizations (NGOs) operating in Kabul have also expressed deep concern over the situation. These organizations maintain that the presence of individuals internationally designated as terrorists is unacceptable under any circumstances.
Reports indicate that these international institutions and diplomatic circles have formally conveyed their concerns to the Taliban administration regarding the matter.
