Muzaffarabad: Pakistan and Azad Jammu and Kashmir marked the first anniversary of Operation Bunyan Marsoos with great enthusiasm and patriotic spirit. The celebrations were held to remember Pakistan’s claimed historic success in the “Battle of Truth” and the defeat of Indian forces one year ago.

Across the region, people gathered in large numbers to take part in public events and thanksgiving ceremonies. Citizens expressed strong support and solidarity with Pakistan’s armed forces during the celebrations.

Meanwhile, rallies, seminars, and public gatherings were organized in Muzaffarabad, Mirpur, Poonch, Neelum, and other districts and towns of Azad Kashmir. Teachers, students, traders, lawyers, intellectuals, and civil society members participated actively in the events.

Participants carried Pakistan’s national flags and banners in support of the armed forces. At the same time, slogans such as “Long Live Pakistan” and “Long Live Pakistan Armed Forces” echoed through the streets and gathering places.

Speakers Praise Armed Forces and Warn Against Future Aggression

During the events, speakers said that in May 2025 Pakistan’s armed forces responded to enemy aggression with professional skill and determination. They claimed the operation forced the enemy into defeat on the global stage and proved that Pakistan’s defense remains strong and prepared.

In addition, speakers described the victory as a symbol of national strength, stability, and a brighter future for the country. They said the operation showed the world that Pakistan’s armed forces are fully capable of protecting the country’s borders and national dignity.

At the same time, participants delivered a strong message to India. They stated that the people of Pakistan and the armed forces remain united and alert against any future threat.

Speakers also warned that if India attempted any new “misadventure,” the consequences would be more severe than before. Furthermore, special prayers were offered in mosques after Fajr prayers for the safety of the country and for the martyrs who lost their lives during the conflict.
