Karachi- Islamabad — The leadership of Wafaq-ul-Madaris Al-Arabia Pakistan has strongly criticized the suicide attack carried out at an Imambargah in Islamabad, calling it a tragic and highly reprehensible act.
In a statement issued by the Media Center of Wafaq-ul-Madaris, President Maulana Mufti Muhammad Taqi Usmani, Senior Vice President Maulana Anwar-ul-Haq, Secretary General Maulana Muhammad Hanif Jalandhari, along with other senior leaders, expressed deep sorrow over the loss of innocent lives.
The religious scholars emphasized that taking innocent lives and shedding blood has no justification under any circumstances. They said that those who carry out such attacks in mosques, Imambargahs, and religious seminaries do not even deserve to be called human beings, as these places are sacred and meant solely for worship and peace.
The leaders warned that such brutal acts are aimed at destabilizing Pakistan and spreading fear and chaos within society. They demanded that the authorities trace the entire network involved in this cruel and inhumane attack and ensure that those responsible are brought to justice and made an example for others.
Wafaq-ul-Madaris also urged the government to take immediate and effective measures to provide foolproof security to all mosques, Imambargahs, and religious institutions across the country, stressing that protecting places of worship is a collective national responsibility.

The statement reaffirmed that Pakistan’s religious leadership stands united against terrorism and violence, and supports every effort to safeguard peace, harmony, and human life in the country.
