Karachi and Toba Tek Singh Raids Reveal Spy Network

Meanwhile, Pakistan’s law enforcement agencies launched a crackdown on suspected Indian spies. The Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) in Punjab arrested six alleged RAW facilitators from Toba Tek Singh. Prior to this, authorities in Karachi had detained four others linked to similar operations. These individuals were reportedly in possession of weapon caches and sensitive documents, including maps, suggesting advanced planning and coordination. The swift and coordinated arrests highlight Pakistan’s growing resolve to expose and dismantle foreign intelligence operations on its soil.

Pakistan Challenges Indian Narrative on Pahalgam Attack

Furthermore, Pakistan questioned the Indian narrative surrounding the Pahalgam attack. Gen. Malik reminded SCO members of India’s refusal to allow an independent inquiry into the incident. He pointed out discrepancies between the J&K police’s initial sketches of perpetrators and the new faces presented by India’s National Investigation Agency (NIA) before the Supreme Court. Pakistan maintains that the so-called “facilitators” currently in NIA custody are being used to frame Pakistani nationals without presenting credible or shared evidence.

Conclusion: Rising Tensions in Multilateral Forums

This SCO meeting marked the first high-level face-off between the two NSAs since the Pahalgam incident. As India continues to highlight Operation Sindoor and call for joint anti-terror operations, Pakistan is pushing back by spotlighting Indian-sponsored terrorism within its borders. The arrest of RAW facilitators reinforces Islamabad’s claims and signals a more assertive regional posture.
