Humanitarian Tragedy in Occupied Kashmir
It is a harsh reality that over the past seven decades, more than six hundred thousand Kashmiris have been martyred in Indian-occupied Jammu and Kashmir. In the last 34 years alone, over 96,000 Kashmiris have lost their lives, more than 7,000 were killed in detention, and over 100,000 children have been deprived of parental care.
Since 5 August 2019, Indian atrocities have intensified, with 966 Kashmiris martyred, over 25,000 arrested, and thousands subjected to brutal torture in the past five years. The wave of state oppression continued in January 2025, claiming the lives of more innocent Kashmiris.
