A deadly blast in Mastung killed 3 Frontier Constabulary personnel and injured 16. In a separate Bajaur attack, 10 people, including soldiers and children, sustained injuries.

Peshawar – 15 April: A remote-controlled roadside bomb blast killed three Frontier Constabulary (FC) personnel and injured sixteen others in Mastung district. According to sources, the deadly blast in Mastung occurred during a routine patrol and explosion caused severe damage to vehicle.

Abdul Hameed Bugti, an Anti-Terrorism Force (ATF) member from Dera Bugti, was among the martyrs.

Two critically injured personnel are receiving treatment at a nearby hospital. Security forces quickly sealed the area and began a search operation to catch the attackers.

In a separate incident, Militants in Bajaur’s Mamund area used an IED to target a security forces’ vehicle.

The blast injured four soldiers and six civilians, including two children. Fortunately, all the wounded are reported to be in stable condition.

These twin attacks highlight persistent threats to Pakistan’s law enforcement, especially in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Authorities are on high alert, and investigations are underway to trace the perpetrators.

These incidents have once again raised concerns about the safety of frontline security personnel and the need for enhanced counterterrorism measures.
