Afghanistan-Kazakhstan Boost Economic Ties

Kabul- Afghan Interior Minister Khalifa Sirajuddin Haqqani held an important meeting with the Special Representative of the Kazakh President, Tokumov. The two leaders discussed in detail the promotion of bilateral relations, trade, and economic projects.

During the meeting, the Kazakh representative expressed his determination to continue cooperation on several projects between Afghanistan and Kazakhstan, including railway development projects, border security, counter-narcotics, and the construction of a railway line through Turkmenistan.

Interior Minister Khalifa Sirajuddin Haqqani, while thanking Kazakhstan for its cooperation, appreciated the growing closeness between the two countries and said that Afghanistan is on the path of trade and development and expects good relations with Kazakhstan.

The meeting makes it clear that relations between Afghanistan and Kazakhstan are not limited to diplomatic circles but are also strengthening in the economic, trade, and security fields, which could prove to be the precursor to a new era of stability in the region.
