The 275th Corps Commanders Conference was held in Rawalpindi under the chairmanship of Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir. At the start of the meeting, the forum paid strong tribute to the martyrs who gave their lives for the defence of Pakistan. Their sacrifices were honoured with deep respect and gratitude.

During the conference, the commanders reviewed the overall security situation of the region. Matters related to counter terrorism and current regional developments were discussed in detail. The Army Chief expressed full confidence in the operational readiness and professional skills of the Pakistan Army. He praised the intelligence based operations being carried out across the country and said these efforts are vital for national security.

Meanwhile, the forum reaffirmed its firm resolve to completely dismantle terrorist networks and their support systems through Operation Ghazab-ul-Haq. The aim, it was stressed, is to ensure that Pakistan’s soil is never used for violent or disruptive activities.

Firm Stand on Regional Issues and Call for Continued Readiness

The forum strongly criticised the policies of the Afghan Taliban regime. It stated that providing safe havens to Khawarij and other terrorist groups goes against the interests of the Afghan people. At the same time, the conference rejected allegations made by the Afghan Taliban that Pakistan targets civilians inside Afghan territory. These claims were described as false and part of an organised misinformation campaign meant to hide their own internal failures.

In addition, the Army Chief congratulated the nation and the armed forces on the completion of a memorable year of the “Battle for Truth”. He said this period reflects national unity, collective determination and an unwavering commitment to protect Pakistan’s sovereignty.

The forum also condemned the ongoing human rights abuses in occupied Jammu and Kashmir. It reaffirmed Pakistan’s continued diplomatic, political and moral support for the just struggle of the Kashmiri people.

In conclusion, the Army Chief directed all commanders to remain alert and maintain a high level of operational preparedness in view of emerging challenges. He emphasised that constant readiness is key to safeguarding the country in changing times.
