Following a recent terrorist attack in Bannu, Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Bannu, Sajad Khan, took a very strong stance while addressing police personnel and local elders. He pledged that every police and Frontier Corps (FC) martyr would be avenged. He said that for every one martyr, ten terrorists would be killed. He added that such attacks cannot weaken the resolve of the security forces.

He also emphasized that the police and the public stand together in this fight. According to him, security forces and citizens are part of the same mission and united in their goals. In addition, he assured the families of martyrs that their sacrifice would not go in vain.

Meanwhile, local residents expressed full solidarity with the police and the administration.
