Chinese Ambassador Jiang Zaidong met Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar in Islamabad, where both sides discussed regional security, bilateral strategic relations, and matters of mutual interest.

During the meeting, the Chinese envoy appreciated Pakistan’s positive role in promoting peace and stability in the region and beyond. He particularly praised Pakistan’s diplomatic facilitation efforts in the ongoing US-Iran talks and reaffirmed Beijing’s full support in this regard.

Ishaq Dar highlighted the importance of the Pakistan-China “All-Weather Strategic Cooperative Partnership,” stressing the strong and time-tested nature of bilateral relations. He also underscored the need for continued high-level exchanges to further strengthen cooperation.

According to the Foreign Office, the meeting reflects Pakistan’s growing diplomatic influence and its commitment to regional peace efforts alongside neighboring countries. The Chinese ambassador reiterated that China values Pakistan’s constructive role in promoting regional stability.
