With this innings, Azan Owais became the 14th Pakistani player to score a century on Test debut. He played a responsible knock of 103 runs off 153 balls, hitting 14 boundaries. His innings showed patience, control, and confidence at the top level.

Solid opening partnership sets the platform

Azan reached his century in the first session but was dismissed shortly after. Meanwhile, Abdullah Fazal also impressed in his debut Test, scoring 60 runs off 102 balls, including a well-made half century.

Quick wickets halt Pakistan’s momentum

After the strong start, Pakistan’s batting lineup struggled. Captain Shan Masood was dismissed for just 9 runs. Saud Shakeel also failed to score and returned to the pavilion without opening his account.

On the bowling side, Mohammad Abbas took five wickets for Pakistan. Shaheen Shah Afridi claimed three wickets, while Nauman Ali and Hasan Ali took one wicket each.

Match set for an exciting finish

Finally, with two days left in the match, both teams are expected to push hard. Pakistan will look to recover from their batting collapse, while Bangladesh will try to maintain control of the game.
