Dubai: The International Cricket Council has released its annual T20 team rankings, showing stability at the top with no major changes in the top ten positions for both men’s and women’s teams.
To begin with, India continues to hold the number one position in the men’s T20 rankings. However, their rating points have dropped slightly by one point.
England, Australia, and Pakistan Maintain Their Standings
In addition, England remains in second place, followed by Australia in third and New Zealand in fourth. South Africa stays at fifth position, while Pakistan holds sixth place. West Indies also remain steady at seventh.
Moving further down the list, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka have exchanged positions. Bangladesh improved slightly and moved to eighth place, while Sri Lanka slipped to ninth after losing six rating points. Afghanistan, Zimbabwe, and Ireland continue to hold tenth, eleventh, and twelfth positions respectively.
Women’s T20 Rankings Also Show Stability
Similarly, the ICC Women’s T20 rankings show no major changes in the top ten.
Australia’s women’s team remains at the top of the rankings. England is in second place, followed by India in third. New Zealand holds fourth position, while South Africa stays fifth.
In addition, West Indies remain sixth, Sri Lanka seventh, and Pakistan continues at eighth place. Overall, the rankings reflect consistency across the women’s teams as well.
