Nokundi – A major operation was carried out by the Pakistani security forces in the Nokundi border area, and 179 Afghanistan nationals were arrested.

The forces responded to a tip-off about suspicious activities in the border regions by responding to an illegitimate entry attempt.

Upon examination, it was found that all of them lacked the required legal documents for travel and identification to cross the border.

The group was arrested as part of an ongoing process of ensuring stability in the region and seeing to it that all movement across the frontier is conducted through proper legal means.

In the initial questioning, the arrested men revealed the sad motives behind their journey. They said that Afghanistan doesn’t have job prospects, and schooling facilities are lacking.
