June 8, 2025: India’s global isolation is growing. Instead of addressing real issues, Indian media is blaming the United States for the recent Pahalgam attack. Pro-government anchor Arnab Goswami led this charge.

In a primetime show, Goswami claimed former U.S. President Donald Trump and his family are linked to World Liberty Financial, a crypto company. He said the company signed a deal with the Pakistan Crypto Council just four days before the Pahalgam incident. He offered no evidence.

Still, the claim spread fast. Goswami went further. He accused U.S. media of staying silent to support “radical Islam.” He urged Americans to question Trump.

From Media Propaganda to Growing Isolation

These statements lack proof. But they reflect a pattern. Indian media is using conspiracy theories to shift attention away from diplomatic failures.

Meanwhile, India faces setbacks on the global stage. Canada only invited Modi to the G7 summit as a symbolic gesture. France, Germany, and the EU remained silent after the attack — despite major defense deals. In the Gulf, Saudi Arabia and the UAE have strengthened ties with Pakistan. Even BRICS unity looks shaky, with reports suggesting India could face internal pressure from member states.

Analysts say the damage is self-inflicted. “You can’t use diplomacy for local politics and expect global respect,” said a London-based South Asia expert.

Critics also point to rising violence against minorities and shrinking press freedom in India. These trends hurt the country’s image abroad.

Key questions still remain. For instance, why did only Israel support India openly? Moreover, why is global sympathy shifting toward Pakistan? And most importantly, why is Indian media consistently avoiding these questions?

Meanwhile, India’s media continues to attack foreign powers. However, this strategy is clearly backfiring. As a result, allies are distancing themselves. Consequently, the government is rapidly losing global trust.

In the end, India’s global isolation is no longer a fear — it is a fact. Therefore, blaming others will not change that.
