Tehran: Iran has confirmed that it is exchanging messages with the United States through Pakistan. Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei said that contacts between the two sides are ongoing through Pakistani channels.

At the same time, he explained that the ceasefire proposals sent by the United States are being carefully reviewed. Iran has not yet given a formal reply. However, he added that once a decision is made, Iran’s response will be delivered to Washington through Pakistan.

US Says War Has Ended as Regional Tensions Ease

Meanwhile, media reports say that the American ceasefire proposals have now been reduced to just one page. According to US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, the conflict that began on February 28 and was named “Operation Epic Fury” by the United States has now ended.

In addition, US President Donald Trump announced that he has halted “Project Freedom,” which was launched to reopen the Strait of Hormuz. He said this decision was taken after receiving signs of progress in talks, especially due to mediation efforts by Pakistan and other countries.

Overall, these developments suggest a possible easing of tensions, as diplomatic channels remain active and regional actors push for dialogue over conflict.
