Security forces conduct operation in Khyber district, killing five militants including Commander Hanzala and injuring several others.

Security forces carried out a successful late-night operation in the Adam Khel area of Khyber district in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, killing five militants and injuring several others.

According to local security sources, the operation was launched on the basis of intelligence reports regarding the presence of militants in the area. Heavy weapons and artillery were also used during the operation.

Sources stated that security forces specifically targeted militant hideouts where wanted extremists were hiding. During the intense exchange of fire, five militants were killed, identified as Commander Hanzala, Naheedullah alias Hayat, Ajmal, Bahadur alias Muhajir, and Abu Darda. Another militant identified as Malang alias Sangari was also among those killed.

In addition, seven militants were injured in the operation, including Yasir alias Muhajir, Ubaida alias Janan, and one Afghan national.

Following the operation, security forces cordoned off the area and launched a search operation to eliminate any remaining threats and ensure complete security in the region.
