Accountability and Future Goals
DPO Waqar Ahmed underscored that such outcomes are the fruits of a stern policy of self-accountability in the department.
He observed that good work is rewarded and negligence is addressed directly through departmental action. It is hoped that the Khyber Police performance will also improve considerably in the following months as operations are stepped up.
Ahmed reiterated that safeguarding the life and property of the people should be the number one priority and that the police would still be using a zero-tolerance approach toward any kind of organized crime or unlawful ownership of weapons.
