At least five people have been killed in a powerful explosion at the residence of a senior commander linked to Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) in the Manogai area of Pech Dara district in Afghanistan’s eastern Kunar province, according to local sources.

The blast was reported to be extremely intense, completely destroying the house and causing significant damage in the surrounding area.

Casualties and Emergency Response

Local sources confirmed that the incident took place in the Manogai area of Pech Dara district. Following the explosion, injured individuals were immediately shifted to nearby medical facilities for treatment.

Authorities have not yet released any official statement regarding the identities of those killed, while concerns remain that the death toll could rise.

TTP Commander’s Residence Targeted
