Brussels – Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Ishaq Dar met with his German counterpart, Johan Vadful, in Brussels on the sidelines of the 4th EU Indo-Pacific Ministerial Forum. The meeting, on November 21, highlighted the positive trajectory of Pakistan–Germany relations, with both sides discussing regional developments and agreeing to maintain close dialogue to deepen cooperation across multiple sectors.
The engagement reflects Pakistan’s confident foreign policy, emphasizing practical cooperation and long-term partnerships. Both ministers expressed satisfaction with the current momentum in bilateral relations and reaffirmed their commitment to strengthen collaboration in defense, political, economic, trade, investment, and education sectors.
The discussion also covered regional and global developments, with both sides agreeing on the importance of close communication to promote mutual understanding and pursue shared interests. Pakistan’s interaction with Germany underscores Islamabad’s growing recognition as a stabilizing force in regional diplomacy and its credibility as a security partner.

The German side confirmed a commitment of €114 million for 2025–26, focusing on climate and energy transition, sustainable economic development, vocational training, and social protection initiatives in Pakistan. Minister Dar extended an invitation to the German leadership to visit Pakistan, signaling continued engagement and the strengthening of long-term partnerships.
