Multiple explosions have been reported in the Margha area of Paktika Province, Afghanistan, according to preliminary accounts. Details regarding casualties, damages, and the cause of the blasts are still emerging. Local authorities and security forces are reportedly en route to the site to assess the situation and secure the area.

Adding to the tension, an unidentified aircraft fired missiles at the Banoosi Madrasa in Barmal at 11:50 today, with reports indicating possible damage and casualties. Officials confirmed that a total of 8 targets were reportedly struck across Khost, Paktika, and Nangarhar.

Authorities have urged residents to remain indoors and exercise caution until more information becomes available. Media correspondents note that the region has faced security challenges in the past, raising concerns over potential militant activity or accidental detonation of explosives.

Further updates are expected as authorities investigate the incidents and emergency response teams reach the affected areas. The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan has not yet commented on the matter.
