Severe fog at Peshawar Airport reduces visibility to as low as 50 meters, causing major disruption to flight operations. According to the Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA), adverse weather conditions lead to delays for several domestic and international flights, while multiple aircraft divert to alternate airports.

PAA reports that Pakistan International Airlines flight PK-258 from Sharjah diverts to Lahore due to poor weather. PIA flight PK-218 from Abu Dhabi lands in Karachi, while PIA flight PK-284 from Dubai diverts to Islamabad. In addition, Emirates flight EK-636 from Dubai to Peshawar and Etihad Airways flight EY-276 from Abu Dhabi experience delays.

Outbound flights from Peshawar are also affected. Etihad Airways flight EY-277 to Abu Dhabi and Emirates flight EK-637 to Dubai face delays due to the ongoing weather conditions.

The Pakistan Airports Authority says poor visibility is likely to persist until 11:30 am, which may cause further disruption to flight operations. Passengers are advised to contact their respective airlines for the latest updates before heading to the airport.
