Pakistan Pushes Diplomatic Outreach at Global Forum

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has arrived in Turkey to attend the Antalya Diplomacy Forum. This visit comes after his recent trips to Saudi Arabia and Qatar as part of a wider diplomatic mission focused on regional peace and dialogue.

According to the Prime Minister’s Office, the Prime Minister was welcomed at Antalya airport by Governor Hulusi Sahin along with Pakistan’s ambassador to Turkey and other diplomatic officials. His participation in the forum highlights Pakistan’s growing engagement in global diplomatic platforms.

During the forum, the Prime Minister will join the Leaders Panel. There, he is expected to present Pakistan’s position on key international issues. In addition, several bilateral meetings are also scheduled with world leaders attending the event.

High Level Meetings Focus on Peace and Regional Stability

Alongside the forum activities, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is expected to meet Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. Other meetings with global leaders are also part of his official schedule. These discussions are likely to focus on regional stability and cooperation.

Earlier, during his visit to Qatar, the Prime Minister met Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani. Both leaders discussed tensions in the region and stressed the need for dialogue and peaceful solutions. The Prime Minister also reiterated Pakistan’s concern over recent attacks in the Gulf region.

Before that, in Saudi Arabia, he met Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. The Saudi leadership appreciated Pakistan’s role in ongoing diplomatic efforts, especially regarding US Iran talks and regional mediation initiatives.

In addition, the Prime Minister is accompanied by a high level delegation including Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, Information Minister Attaullah Tarar and senior officials.

Overall, this visit reflects Pakistan’s continued attempt to stay active in international diplomacy. From the Gulf to Turkey, Islamabad is positioning itself as a supporter of dialogue and regional peace at a time of rising global tensions.
