Doha – The Islamic Republic of Pakistan and the State of Qatar have reaffirmed their commitment to resolving conflicts through peaceful and diplomatic means, a theme emphasized during a high-level meeting between the Amir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, and Pakistani Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif.

The meeting, held in Doha, underscored the strategic and long-standing nature of the bilateral relationship between the two countries.

His Highness the Amir, in one of his official posts on his X account, emphasized the main conclusions of the conversation.

“In my meeting with Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, we jointly emphasized the importance of strengthening diplomatic and peaceful channels for resolving conflicts and maintaining regional and international security,” he stated.

This mutual outlook coincides with a period when global stability is challenged by complex and changing circumstances, which makes both Qatar and Pakistan central advocates of de-escalation and dialogue.
