Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has arrived in Doha on an official visit to Qatar, accompanied by a high-level delegation. Upon his arrival at Doha International Airport, he was warmly received by Qatar’s Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Sultan bin Saad Al Muraikhi. On this occasion, a smartly turned-out contingent of the Qatari Armed Forces presented a guard of honor to the Prime Minister, while the streets of Doha were adorned with the flags of Pakistan and Qatar.

During the visit, the Prime Minister will hold a one-on-one meeting with the Amir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani. The meeting will include detailed discussions on bilateral economic cooperation, investment, and trade, as well as Pakistan’s ongoing efforts for regional and global peace. The visit aims to further strengthen the strategic partnership between the two brotherly countries.

The Prime Minister is accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Ishaq Dar, Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar, Special Assistant Tariq Fatemi, and the Prime Minister’s spokesperson for international media, Mohsin Zaidi. The visit is being regarded as highly significant in taking Pakistan-Qatar relations to new heights.
