Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif returned to Pakistan on Saturday after completing a highly significant three-nation visit to Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Türkiye. The high-level delegation included Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, Federal Minister for Information Attaullah Tarar, Special Assistant Tariq Fatemi, and Spokesperson for Foreign Media Mohsin Naqvi. Turkish Foreign Ministry officials and Pakistan’s Ambassador Dr. Yousaf Junaid saw off the delegation at Antalya Airport.

Participation in Antalya Diplomacy Forum

During the three-day visit, the Prime Minister attended the Antalya Diplomacy Forum in Türkiye, where he held important discussions with host leadership and other global leaders. The talks focused on regional peace, the situation in Gaza, and global economic challenges. The Prime Minister strongly presented Pakistan’s stance at the international forum, which was widely appreciated.

Strengthening Strategic Ties with Brotherly Countries

During visits to Saudi Arabia and Qatar, the Prime Minister agreed with the leadership of both countries to further strengthen bilateral relations and expand economic cooperation. Discussions included progress in agriculture, energy, and defence-related joint investment projects. The Prime Minister reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to elevating strategic partnerships with brotherly nations and playing a key role in regional stability.

Pakistan’s Efforts for Regional Peace

Diplomatic observers noted that the visit came at a time of major geopolitical shifts in the Middle East and global politics. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif emphasized the need for lasting peace in the region during his meetings with world leaders and highlighted Pakistan’s ongoing diplomatic efforts. Upon return, he is expected to brief the federal cabinet on the outcomes of the visit, which are likely to open new avenues for foreign investment in Pakistan.
