Youm-e-Istehsal Kashmir March observed at Sports Complex, Peshawar

On the occasion of Youm-e-Istehsal Kashmir, the Directorate General of Sports Khyber Pakhtunkhwa organized a solidarity walk at Peshawar Sports Complex to raise voice against Indian atrocities and express unwavering support for the Kashmiri people’s right to self-determination.The walk was led by Director General Sports Khyber Pakhtunkhwa,Tashfeen Haider.

Among other notable participants were Director Operations Jamshed Baloch, Director Establishment Nematullah, Director Development Muneer Abbas, Chief Coach Shafqatullah, Administrator Peshawar Sports Complex Yousaf Afridi, Assistant Director Accounts Shah Faisal, along with other officers, staff and employees of the department.

Participants of the walk carried banners and placards inscribed with slogans supporting Kashmiris’ right to self-determination and condemning India’s illegal occupation.

Through powerful chants and messages, the marchers expressed complete solidarity with the Kashmiri people and reaffirmed their commitment to supporting their just struggle.

Speaking on the occasion, DG Sports Tashfeen Haider stated, “On August 5, 2019, India took an unlawful step by revoking the special status of Jammu and Kashmir, depriving its people of their basic rights,a clear violation of UN resolutions and fundamental human rights principles”.

He added that every citizen of Pakistan stands shoulder to shoulder with their Kashmiri brothers and sisters.

Other speakers echoed the resolve that Pakistan will continue its unwavering moral, political, and diplomatic support for the just cause of the Kashmiri people and their struggle for freedom.
