A joint intelligence based operation was conducted by police and security forces in Shad Khan Kallah village, a suburban area of Jani Khel. During the successful action, 9 militants were killed and one was critically injured.

According to details, security forces received credible intelligence regarding the presence of militants in the area. Acting on the information, joint teams surrounded the militants’ hideout and effectively targeted it. In the intense exchange of fire, 9 militants were neutralized. Sources confirmed that the killed militants were also directly involved in the recent cowardly attack on Fateh Khel Police Station and were wanted by security agencies.

Following the destruction of the hideout, a large scale clearance operation has been launched in the area to trace and eliminate any fleeing militants and their local facilitators. Security officials stated that targeted operations will continue with full force until the complete elimination of militant networks from the country.
