Pakistan’s security forces killed seven militants linked to the Indian proxy group Fitna al Hindustan during two intelligence-based operations in Balochistan, the ISPR confirmed on Tuesday.

In Mach, Kachhi district, troops launched a targeted raid after receiving credible intelligence. They swiftly surrounded the hideout and, after an intense gunfight, neutralized five militants. Soldiers recovered weapons, explosives, and communication devices from the scene.

Soon after, troops moved into the Margand area of Kalat. Acting on new intelligence, they located another militant base. Within hours, forces stormed the location and shot two terrorists who tried to resist arrest.

Nation Stands Firm Against Cross-Border Violence

Although tensions with India escalated last month, local militant groups failed to intensify attacks, according to the Pakistan Institute for Conflict and Security Studies (PICSS). However, Pakistan still saw 85 attacks in May and 81 in April, killing 113 people, including 52 security personnel.

Despite these challenges, Pakistani forces remain active. Last week alone, operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan eliminated 12 terrorists linked to Indian-backed networks.

Interior Minister and military officials continue to call for vigilance. They urge citizens to report any suspicious activity and support national efforts to counter foreign-sponsored terrorism.

The government recently labeled all hostile groups in Balochistan as part of Fitna al Hindustan, accusing India of using them to destabilize Pakistan. This framing is intended to rally public support and attract international attention to India’s alleged role.

ISPR reiterated that Pakistani forces will continue targeting such groups. “We will not allow any Indian proxy to threaten our people or our peace,” a spokesperson said.

As the security situation evolves, Pakistan’s commitment to protecting its sovereignty and citizens remains unwavering. Officials emphasized that the nation must stay alert and united to defeat the Indian proxy threat once and for all. They also called on the international community to take notice of cross-border terrorism fueling instability in the region.
