Peshawar – Peshawar is preparing to host a political rally organized by the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan. The rally, which will take place on September 27 and is headed by Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur, is projected to be a historic gathering of mass support.

The spokesperson of the Chief Minister, Faraz Mughal, said that the construction of the Ring Road rally was going on round the clock.

The venue will consist of male and female sections, and special facilities are being prepared to serve food and accommodation to guests visiting from outside the province. Mughal expects millions to attend, predicting the rally will be “a historic gathering.”

Chief Minister Gandapur Addresses Key Issues

He criticized the recent civilian deaths during counter-terrorism actions, stating that they are unacceptable.

Gandapur stated that while action against terrorists is the “mandate of the federal government and the army,” he believes that a long-term solution requires dialogue.

“The solution to the problem is not this; there should be talks,” he said.

Gandapur also criticized what he called “lawlessness” in the country and argued that the judiciary has been “handcuffed” by the 26th Amendment.

In a larger political standpoint, Gandapur lamented what he referred to as lawlessness in the nation and believed that the judiciary had been handcuffed by the 26th Amendment.

He emphasized that organizations must conduct their operations within the confines of the Constitution.

“The upcoming rally”, he said, “will be the testament that the country is on the side of the PTI”.

Addressing recent talks with Afghanistan, he clarified that this falls under the federal government’s mandate and confirmed that the names of a tribal delegation would be sent to the federation this week.

He also criticized the national cricket team’s performance, stating, “India is our enemy, the nation is deeply saddened.” He accused Mohsin Naqvi of making institutions miserable and destroying the team.
