On June 10, PIA flight PK-732 departed from Jeddah, carrying 307 pilgrims back to Pakistan. This marks the beginning of return flights for pilgrims who performed Hajj under the government scheme.

The flight took off from King Abdulaziz International Airport at 8:50 PM local time. It is scheduled to land at Islamabad International Airport at 3:50 AM on June 11. Dr. Syed Ata Ur Rehman, Secretary of the Ministry of Religious Affairs, confirmed the schedule.

Thousands Set to Return in Coming Weeks

In the coming weeks, PIA will operate 362 flights to bring home more than 88,000 pilgrims. These flights will cover major cities including Islamabad, Lahore, Karachi, and others. Meanwhile, a special flight, PK-7030, will depart from Madinah on June 12. It will carry around 307 pilgrims to Lahore.

The post-Hajj operation will continue until July 10. On the final day, flight PK-7094 will bring back 437 pilgrims from Madinah to Islamabad. This large-scale operation reflects close coordination between PIA and the Pakistan Hajj Mission.

Furthermore, the Hajj Mission has made comprehensive logistical preparations. From transport to health services, each step has been planned to ensure a smooth and dignified return for all pilgrims.

Efforts Recognized Nationwide

This year, over 115,000 Pakistanis performed Hajj through both government and private arrangements. Now, the successful return of the first batch reflects the commitment of officials and airline staff alike.

Moreover, authorities have emphasized their focus on timely flights, proper care, and continuous updates for families waiting at home.

As return operations continue, the efforts of PIA and the Ministry of Religious Affairs remain crucial. Together, they aim to complete the post-Hajj phase without delays or disruptions.

In conclusion, PIA’s post-Hajj operation not only marks the end of a spiritual journey but also highlights national coordination, planning, and service.
